Cynthia began her journey with CASA in June 2012 as a dedicated volunteer, driven by her passion for supporting needy children. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UTPB, she transitioned into a staff role as a Case Manager. Her commitment to the mission of CASA and her leadership skills led her to serve as Program Director and ultimately as Executive Director. In May 2024, Cynthia further enhanced her expertise by earning a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. A lifelong resident of Odessa, Cynthia brings a deep understanding of the community’s needs and a steadfast dedication to advocating for the well-being of children and families.

Kay joined CASA of the Permian Basin in 2020, bringing a compassionate heart and an unwavering dedication to supporting children in need. As a devoted mother to three daughters and proud grandmother of five, Kay’s deep understanding of family dynamics and nurturing spirit make her an invaluable part of our team. Her calm and steady demeanor perfectly complements her role as Program Director, reassuring staff and volunteers. Kay has already accomplished so much in her life, and we are excited to see the continued positive impact she will make on CASA and the children we serve. We are truly fortunate to have her leadership and compassion shaping our program’s future!
